If anything were possible what would you dream for? Asks Jamie Ridler on Wishcrafting wednesday.
Right now, I would dream for me to step into my bigger life. To don my 'big girl panties' and step into the dream. To run my own awesome business, to be a rocking mumma & a glorious womanly wife. To live life out loud. With fire & passion. And a bucketload of energy.
What would you dream for? As you wish for yourself, I wish for you too. x Jacs

Wishcrafting Wednesday - Fierce

Jamie Ridler asks today:
Where do you wish to be fierce?
Wow, what a question! It made me laugh a little, because as women we aren't encouraged much to be fierce. So my initial, initial reaction was to giggle slightly in a 'gosh, are we allowed to? kind of way'. Oh yes, we are allowed to. We have permission to be fierce when we choose to, or need to.
I wish to be fierce to protect that which is precious to me. I do not expect you to understand why it is important to me. You just need to back to hell off, so I can get on with it. Not YOU, obviously. You totally get it, I know that. Y'a know. THEM you.
I will be fierce about MY time, and my family. I will start off hissing like a cat, just to warn. But be warned. I can and will pounce if called to!
Yay for fierce. Feisty is fun!
As you wonderful souls wish for yourself, I wish for you too. Where do you wish to be fierce?

Wishcrafting Wednesday - who do you wish to have tea with?
Well, with my morning cuppa in my hand, I popped into Jamie's studio today to see what her wishcrafting prompt was. ' Who do you wish to have tea with?'. Oh my! I am British & Tea is what we do. Its a cultural cure-all, the glue that holds us together. We are taught how to make tea as soon as we are old enough to reach the kettle. We know tea. 'Would you like a cup of tea?' is the very first thing you say to a guest once their feet are over the threshold. And even if you don't then you just say yes & only drink a bit. To say no, well, it just halts the social niceties in their tracks! I love the ritual of tea making, it gives you something to do & say while you adjust to each other's energies. Anyway, I digress. Who do I wish to have tea with?
My initial reaction, which I always listen to, was ME! I love this time of the morning, when everyone has been taken, or taken themselves, to where they need to be for the day. And I can just sit down with a cuppa in my favourite mug and catch up with myself. A small pause before I then get on with the rest of my morning jobs & joys.
Then, I thought about who else I would like to share a tea time with. Grand sweeping thoughts of famous and/or inspiring people. No-one stood out. I realise that the person I most enjoy spending tea time when I am not in solitude, is my beloved husband. And tonight we will be doing just that! Tonight, we are going on a date, for the first time in I don't know how long. We have had a dear friend staying with us for several weeks and it just occurs to us now to take advantage of some built-in babysitting! So we will be out together. Probably a swim & sauna followed by a cuppa at the coffee shop there. I am sooooooo EXCITED! Wheeeee. A tea date with my love!

Wishcrafting: Immersion
Today, for Wishcrafting Wednesday, Jamie Ridler asks
'What do you wish to immerse yourself in?'
Join us with our wishes!
I wish to immerse myself in my life. To live its beauty richly, to feel its sorrows keenly, to laugh its joys loudly, to sing its song. To immerse myself in its Present moment, not to lose it in wondering & worrying about the future present moments. To allow my heart to be as messy & free as my hair.
As you wish for yourself, I wish for you too. x

Wishcraft Wednesday. Opening Doors
Wishcraft Wednesday. This week Jamie Ridler asks:
What Door do you wish to open?
This for some reason is rather a tricky one. I kinda know, but for some reason its hard to admit. The door I want to open is the door to Business. I want to start my own bizniz. To be able to support myself & my family. The only stumbling block is I have NO CLUE. What to I can do, how to do it, where to do it, when to do it. You get the idea. No real idea, just a sense of wanting. So that is the door I need to travel through. Anyone know where it is?!
What Door do you wish to open? As you wish for yourself, I wish for you also.
What Door do you wish to open?
Love the fact that there is a catflap in this door in the sky! |
What Door do you wish to open? As you wish for yourself, I wish for you also.

Wishcrafting: What do you wish to nourish?
Today at Jamie Ridlers' studio for wishcrafting wednesday, Jamie asks:
What do you wish to Nourish? (She has a beautiful dreamboard for nourish. Love it.)
My initial response is Me Me Me! Because its all about me, right? I am feeling a bit under the weather with a cough right now, so could use some proper nourishment.
I also want to nourish my children, fill them with wonderfulness for the summer holidays. But I realise right at this moment, writing this, that I need to feed me before I can feed them.
So I need to take some space for myself, to fill the well, so I can be the nurturing mother I would like to be.

Wishcrafting Wednesday - Break time
This weeks Wishcrafting at Jamie Ridler's Studio - What do you wish to take a break from?
Ha! What indeed. Overall I am feeling fairly contented. However. (always a however eh) I would like to take a break, permanently in fact, from the sense of Overwhelm I allow in my life. Don't know why I even let my to do list rule my life, I have a pretty basic type of life, but I am aware I let my House run me rather than the other way round.
So. A break please from internal pressure of 'must do'.
What do you wish for? May all your wishes come true!
P.S. I have been visiting your blogs & am having a problem leaving comments with Blogger, it just won't let me log in for comments. So sorry, but to you all - As you wish for yourself, I wish for you too. xxx

I wish, I wish, I wish... Wishcraft Wednesday
Today, Jamie's wishcrafting prompt is
'What do you wish to Know?'
For the longest time now it seems, I have wanted to know what makes my heart sing enough that I would love to make my living from it. Or a proportion of my living, as I can get bored easily & enjoy variety!
What I wish to know the answer to, is What do I Love? I have never managed to narrow it down to one thing, as I tend to love the thing I am into right now! Which is fine, but not really a sound business proposition. But I know that there has to be a way. A way to make money from being the best Me I can be, with a joyful heart and a smile on my lips. That is my wish. x

Wishcrafting - Focus
Wishcrafting with Jamie Ridler today, asks 'What do you wish to focus on'?
Well, I managed to come up with a right old list! My creative & spiritual life, My children, My Romance, finishing my house, my wishbig workshops, personal growth....
Then I stopped to really think, in the light of so many possibilities.
And it hit me with some force. What I really wish to focus on is the present moment. The thing in front of me, right at this moment. To move with grace from one thing to the next, and back again if necessary. So frequently I feel fragmented, trying to multitask and not truly working on enjoying the treasure of the here and now.
Yes, I wish to focus on NOW.

Wishcraft wednesday - wishes for the world
Joining in with Jamie Ridlers Wishcraft wednesday. Today's prompt.
What do you wish for the world?
Well, this is a huge one isn't it. Especially at the moment with seizmic activitiy on a geographical level in the Pacific, and politically in the North Africa & the middle East with big shifts going on in so many countries there. And the status quo holding on so, so very hard to power.
The news is so full of distressing images. Unbelievable images. CGI images for real. Its hard to hold onto what is true for me, right here, right now. I find myself curiously detatched, whilst watching in fascination. Not quite beliving or understanding what I see. And then a small detail. A human detail. And it hurts.
What I wish for the world I have to be myself. World change begins in the heart.
What I wish for the world is compassion for the other person. To see the humanity in anothers eyes.
I wish gentle transition to a free-er society for the countries fighting for it across the Middle East.
I wish healing for the people of Japan., and all those hurting.
And I wish that those in the position to do something about it, might question the wisdom of placing of nuclear power stations in an area known for earthquakes. Tsunami is a Japanese word for goodness sake.

Wishcraft Wednesday: Gifts to share
This weeks Wishcraft Wednesday with Jamie Ridler Studios asks:
What Gifts do you wish to share?
What gifts do I have to share? My initial reaction to this was one of puzzlement. What can I offer the world? Or what do I already offer the world without realising? I am trying to chase down the essence of how I serve my soul & share it with the world. My interrogation of my beloved yielded something unprintable and unhelpful to soulsearching, but it made me laugh! That is his gift of humour that he shares with me.
The strange thing is I think of myself as a fairly confident person, outgoing & friendly. And yet, I struggle to name the reasons. So, to my wishcraft.
I wish to share my gift of time with my children. Today I sat and read for half an hour to them after school, which was lovely.
I wish to share my Dance. Its one thing I know I am good at.
I wish to share my home with lovely friends. The gift of sanctuary and gathering.
I wish to share creativity & humour.
