I have been spending a disproportionate amount of time dreaming of my plans for the allotment this year. We have been down a few times in the last month.
Preparing this space, for the lovely shed to go into.
Playing some imaginative games
No, I have no idea why leotard, tights & wellies were sartorial choice. Well, the wellies I do understand. We are veeeerrryy muddy! The game seemed to involve blindfold and giving directions. Until she walked into the raspberry canes & decided her brother wasn't really very good at sat nav.
The newly moved 'den' has been renamed 'the club house' apparently. Either I have very middle class children (OK, its a fair comment) or its on the spy kids film they watched the week before.
And lots of dreaming in front of the fire with seed packets and wonderful books
I was supposed to have given the book here to my brother for Christmas but just sneekily kept it as a gift for me. I am so glad I did. Its fantastic!
Oooh, I disagree! I reckon that leotard, tights and a bobble hat are de rigour for a visit to the allotment... a swipe of spangly blue eye shadow and a feather boa and you have my supermarket shopping outfit! x
ReplyDeleteawwww she looks fab ;-)) The wonderful freedom of being able to grow your own vegetables is going to be so much fun, enjoy it. dee x
ReplyDeletelooks like you are going to be having lots of fun up the allotment this year, just look at all those seed packets x x
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have a vegie garden! We have a huge garden here, and it would be perfect for one, but we are renting, and not sure how long we will be here for, so I have to settle for pots for now... herbs and tulips is all I have. I dream of pumpkin, beetroot, tomatoes...
ReplyDeleteHave fun, I look forward to living vicariously (vegetably) through your blog!
